Last season there was a shocking finale in which we saw the apparent death of Jon Snow? I only have that in the form of a question because my mind will not let me believe that Jon Snow could be dead. But I wouldn’t put it past George R. R. Martin and by proxy, the HBO showrunners to kill off one of the most popular characters in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe. I can tell you though, as a book reading follower of the series, Jon Snow is not dead until we get Winds of Winter, and that may be another 10 years if Martin keeps to his current pace. No doubt about it the series has caught up to the books, and has previously strayed away from the novels storyline. It might continue to stray even farther in the seasons to come. With that in mind, it’s time for this GRRM follower to catch up with the series because he new season of Game of Thrones is set to hit our TV screens on April 24, 2016.
