I just finished reading “Serve You,” a story from the 11th incarnation of the Doctor. He still with his companion Alice, who’s dealing with the loss of her mother, and an alien life form known as Arc. Since their last adventure, Arc has been in a catatonic state and keeps himself in a ball like shape. Added to the mix is Jones, a singer of sorts.

They’re all traveling to see a character known as the Overseer. He’s done something to Alice, and she wants vengeance. Now normally this isn’t something the Doctor would condone, but apparently he’s working out a plan, and they’ll be on their way as soon as possible.

The gang arrives at Serve You Corp where the Doctor informs a receptionist that he now owns fifty-one percent of the company, and wants to see the CEO. After some back and forth she finally agrees, and sends the Doctor up the elevator. Alice and Arc definitely see that something is up and tell the Doctor it’s a bad idea, but we all know the Doctor! He just tells them he will be fine.

After the doors close, the trio turns around to see zombie like characters coming after them blocking all the exits. Alice pleads with Arc to help save them. Arc, sensing that they might be stuck, springs to action, and gets them out of there. They are quickly running to the Tardis, only to have it disappear in front of their very eyes.

Hopefully the Doctor is able to save the day again. Fingers crossed for this adventure.
