I was extremely excited for this series as the Ninth Doctor is one of my favorites.  He’s the Doctor I started with, and over time I’ve grown to care about him more and more. So when a series with him, Rose, and Captain Jack was being released, I had to beg the editor to let me review it.

There on the Tardis, going through space like any other issue, and of course the doctor lands in the wrong spot…or did he?  The Excrothian is not where it’s supposed to be.  It has disappeared.

The Tardis is then pulled in by a tractor beam onto a ship, where they are met with giant robots questioning them, and trying to destroy them.  Of course, in true who fashion they escape. Unfortunately, the ship comes under attack, and they must fight their way out of this, literally.  The Doctor, however, is not pleased with how Jack is handling it.

The issue ends with a cliff hanger where Rose is lost in space, and could be gone forever, but we all know the Doctor will have some trick up his sleeve to save the day.  Right?

I give this issue a Nine, and a definite must read!
