Members of Team Instinct survive the cut throat world of Pokémon by relying solely on their intuition.
They believe that their gut, rather than their reasoning, can be the difference between victory and defeat in the Gym. Neutral in the feud between Mystic and Valor, and Instincts pride themselves on their outsider status.
The mascot for Team Instinct is Zapdos, an electric/flying Pokémon, and as such, members tend to favor Pokémon with similar abilities.
Preferred starter Pokémon: Pikachu
Team Mystic is home to the Advanced Placement students of the Pokémon world.
Members of this team take an analytical approach to battles, sizing their opponents up not by their CP, but by their traits and unique powers.
The mascot for Team Mystic is, an ice/flying Pokémon. Members of this team favor ice and water Pokemon above all other, but they will use Pokémon of all different attributes if their strategy calls for it.
Preferred starter Pokémon: Squirtle
Braun is everything for Team Valor.
Members of this team have an extreme thirst for power, and their battle strategy is simple: pure domination. Low CP Pokémon are easy prey for Team Valor, whose members tend to hoard only high CP Pokémon.
The mascot for Team Valor is, a fire/flying Pokémon. Members of this team prefer to incinerate their enemy with Pokémon of the fire variety, but they don’t discriminate so long as the Pokémon has an extremely high CP.
