Reactions: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer #2

The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer just dropped. It’s a longer cut than we’ve seen previously so definitely more reveals in here.

The Turtles go up against mad scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman who has been contracted out by The Shredder to create some mutants of his own. If you are a fan of the original cartoon you know who is set to make an appearance; Rock Steady and Bebop! There is also a new threat to NYC in the form of an invasion from Dimension X lead by the evil Krang (remember that blobby looking brain thing with tentacles from the cartoons?) However, Splinter and the Turtles keep adding to their crime-fighting ranks with Casey Jones making his franchise debut, so fighting threats on two different fronts shouldn’t be too difficult, right?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is, directed by Dave Green, and written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec. The follow up to the 2014 reboot of the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film franchise stars Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick, Brian Tee as The Shredder, Tyler Perry as Dr. Baxter Stockman, Brittany Ishibashi as Karai, and Laura Linney as Rebecca Vincent. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 3, 2016.

I’m a big fan of the Turtles, but I wasn’t really happy with the last film. You’ll have to check out my reaction below to see if I think this sequel is worth our while! Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

Reactions: MTV Awards ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Exclusive Clip

During the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, viewers got a special treat to about a minute sneak peek at the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie out in theaters May 6. I didn’t watch the movie awards itsself, but I was definitely online when this clip hit the interwebs and couldn’t pass up another look at what is shaping up to be the blockbuster of the summer. It may be time to go on a complete media blackout as the clips and TV spots just seem to be coming for this one, and May is still a ways off, however, I’m hoping we haven’t seen ALL the goodies in these sneak peeks that keep dropping.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Tom Holland, Frank Grillo, Daniel Brühl, and William Hurt.

Want to know exactly what I really think of this latest clip? You’ll have to watch my reaction below to find out! Let me know what you think in the comments and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

Reactions: ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ Teaser Trailer

So Warner Bros just thought they would tuck us in for bed in America, and wake up our UK friends across the pond with this teaser for the latest movie in the Harry Potter universe.

With J.K. Rowling making her screenwriting debut, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them tells the story of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) a Magizoologist who travels to New York City to meet with an important official at the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA). However, American wizarding authorities are soon on the hunt for Newt when creatures from his magical briefcase escape into the city, and threaten the already precarious relationship between American Wizards and No Maj (the American word for Muggles.)

Directed by David Yates, the film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, Ezra Miller, Carmen Ejogo, Faith Wood-Blagrove, Jon Voight and Ron Perlman. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to arrive in theaters November 18, 2016.

I’ve long been a Harry Potter fan and I am thrilled to see J.K. Rowling transitioning into screenwriting. You’ll have to watch the video below though, if you want to find out if this teaser trailer excites me enough to explore Magic in America! Also, don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

The latest trailer for Suicide Squad just dropped and we get to see more of the team! Set to the music “You Don’t Own Me” by Grace feat. G-Easy and “Ballroom Blitz” by Sweet (hence the trailer being dubbed “Blitz”). We see the entire team interacting with each other, getting their bearings, getting more comfortable with their new statuses, plus bonus glimpses of Jared Leto as Joker and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. There is a new scene that shows a group of grown men oggling Harley Quinn as she gets dressed in some familiar attire.

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne, Suicide Squad, directed by David Ayer is scheduled to blitz theater screens on August 5, 2016.

To find out what I personally thought of the trailer, you just have to watch the video to get my reaction! Let me know what you think, and don’t for get to subscribe to our YouTube channel!

Unboxings: Horror Block March 2016 from Nerd Block

In this March’s edition of Horror Block, we have an exclusive item from The Ring this month, plus three more exclusive zombified items. Horror Block is personally my favorite of the Nerd Block subscription boxes, even though sometimes the things inside kind of gross me out (sorry guys, I have a weak stomach!) That being said, I have a pretty good feeling if there ever was a zombie apocalypse I will definitely be among the survivors, rebuilding humanity under my new Queendom of Ari Land!

Also it would certainly be hard to get me trapped in a death cycle like those people in The Ring. I don’t watch unmarked video cassettes. I don’t watch unmarked DVD’s. I don’t watch video cassettes or DVDs. I don’t even have a VCR! It’s all digital for me now, baby! So check out what dead things I unbox in the video below. If you want to subscribe to Horror Block you can click the link here, and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

Film Friday: ‘Hardcore Henry’ Review

This week I went to see Hardcore Henry in theaters. This film is particularly interesting because it was shot entirely in first-person POV with the help of some really agile stuntmen with GoPro cameras mounted to their helmets.

The premise of the film is basically this guy wakes up in a lab in Moscow as a cyborg, (half-human, half robot) and he has no memory of who he is. The Scientist there in the lab tells him she is his wife and his name is Henry. Before she can get his new voice program installed, a group of mercenaries rush in, lead by this guy with supernatural abilities, and they kidnap her. Now Henry goes on a bloody quest through the streets of Moscow to save his wife, and his own life. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film stars Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett and Tim Roth in a “blink and you’ll miss it” cameo.

It is definitely a wild and crazy, action packed, pseudo futuristic ride, but is it just a gimmick or is it worth your while? Check out my review and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Unboxings: Comic Block March 2016 From Nerd Block Unboxing

I just received the new Comic Block that has been retooled by Nerd Block. Comic Block has gone up in price for monthly subscribers, but now is supposed to have more geeky collectibles to put it on the same level of the other Nerd Block themed blocks. Comic Block always came with at least 4 comics, and some other themed collectibles, but now it is promising 4-6 comics, and a comic t-shirt with its comics themed collectibles. Nerd Block stops short of promising a Funko Pop in every box, which is probably one of the most popular collectible items out there, but they now packing their Comic Blocks with an estimated $60 in value (their estimation, of course.) So, is the $5 dollar price increase worth it? You’ll have to watch the video to find out! Don’t forget to subscribe to our Youtube channel for more unboxings!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Official Teaser Trailer Reaction

I woke up today to the link to download the trailer in my inbox, (thank you LucasFilm and Disney!) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first of the standalone film series. While this film isn’t a part of the main storyline in the episode films, it is still a part of the over arching canon, and tells the story of the plans being stolen for the first Death Star. No, this is not when the many Bothans died, but still we have Mon Mothma taking her place as the de facto leader of the Rebel Alliance.

The film stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, with Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, and Alan Tudyk.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to arrive in theaters December 2016. So we should just rename December Star Wars month, with the Disney release schedule of a Star Wars themed film every year. As a Star Wars nerd, I support this!

Also check out the official teaser for yourself below, and may the force be with you!

Film Friday: Natural Born Pranksters Review (No Spoilers)

This week I am reviewing the new film Natural Born Pranksters, starring Roman Atwood, Dennis Roady and Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, the world’s three most notorious, ballsy, and outrageous YouTube pranksters come together for the first time to unleash the most epic pranks in an outrageous feature-film event. Jam-packed with cameos from some of YouTube’s biggest stars, and unbelievable social experiments taken to the next level.

I completely enjoyed this film. It is packed with non-stop pranks from elaborate the set-ups  to just random street pranking. This trio of pranksters vibe so well together you would think they grew up together pranking, but in reality they all met online through twitter. Being fans of each others work they decided to join forces and the rest is history!  They just had their world premiere in LA, so I’ve included some clips straight from the red carpet.

If you haven’t already, check out the interview I did with the pranksters, where they PRANK ME!

Let us know what you think in the comments below!
