Batman: The Killing Joke may be heading straight to DVD, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to check out the latest Batman flick on the big screen!
Fathom Events will be airing The Killing Joke for one night only in select theaters on Monday, July 25 between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. (local time).
The special event will include an introduction from Mark Hamill and a never-before-seen documentary about how Hamill’s role in the film as an actor and fan. The event will also feature a behind-the-scenes look at how the Joker’s musical number from the comics was recreated for the film.
Batman: The Killing Joke is a brand new animated movie based on the comic book of the same name.
The story follows The Joker as he is transformed from a failed stand-up comedian into Batman’s greatest nemesis. The film includes the vocal talents of Mark Hamill (The Joker), Kevin Conroy (Batman), Tara Strong (Batgirl), and Ray Wise (Commissioner Gordon).
