Arrow is a show that, in my (not-so-popular) opinion, gets better and better with each passing season. Now that it’s returned from it’s mid-season hibernation, I decided to celebrate Arrow by watching and reviewing a Green Arrow themed fan film. I went with a feature length project by Fire Bird Films called City of Vengeance, which follows the Green Arrow‘s run in with his former friend turned enemy, Deathstroke.
Was it a stroke of genius? Or did it fail to meet my expectations? Most importantly, do I recommend the fan film to you, GeekGirl World?

It’s October, which means 3 things to me:
- Pumpkin Spiced Everything
- FALL TELEVISION SWEEPS!
In celebration of autumn and all the glorious television shows that will be returning to the small screen, we have decided to watch and review a fan film inspired by my personal most-anticipated program, Arrow, whose 4th season premieres October 7, 2015.
We found a series called The Hood and tuned into Episode 1, titled Black Mask. Did it do Green Arrow justice? Or did this one miss the mark? Watch our review to find out!
