Grimm Recap: Ep. 22, “Cry Havoc”

I can’t believe it’s the season finale already!!!

Nick is having a terrible time accepting his mother’s death. As he screams, Hank and Trubel realize it is a trap and they have to go. Kenneth tells his men to go ahead and kill all of them and the hundjagers descend upon the house just as Nick, Hank and Trubel escape out the back. Nick wants to go back but knows they can’t and Trubel tells him the Royals are behind everything. Nick asks to see the body as Juliette and Kenneth head to the estate the royals are staying at with Diana. Trubel takes Nick and Hank to where she killed the hundjager and Nick tells Trubel to take the head believing that Adalind may be able to help them. Wu shows up and Nick tells him the Royals killed his mom before tossing the severed hundjager head into the trunk of Wu’s squad car. Time for Nick to do things his way – the Grimm way.

Renard is still recovering at the spice shop with Monroe and Rosalee and they are explaining why they shot him with rubber bullets. Renard is still remorseful for having killed the women but Rosalee reminds him that it wasn’t really him. Renard isn’t very convinced that he should have no repercussions and knows the police won’t stop looking until they find who did it.

Photo from the episode "Cry Havoc"Nick, Hank, Wu and Trubel arrive at Bud’s house and Bud is napping in a chair, poor guy. Bud tells Nick that Adalind is asleep, but she comes walking in and Nick explains the Royals killed his mom and have Diana. Adalind shows genuine concern for Nick and empathy that his mother was killed (whoa). Adalind explains that Kenneth and Rispoli are in charge of the Verat and that she may be able to get back into the hotel they were staying in. Trubel sees that Adalind is pregnant and Nick lets her know it’s his. Looks like they’re forgetting to get her caught up on everything.

Kenneth and Juliette arrive at the large estate they are renting for the King. King Frederick is so excited to see Diana and Kenneth explains that they have Juliette to thank. King Frederick thanks Juliette and tells her he has a soft spot for hexenbiest (well, yeah, he hooked up with one to make Renard). King Frederick has the Nanny take Diana and feed, bathe and dress her properly. Just then, Rispoli calls and Kenneth puts him on speaker phone. He relays the bad news that the Grimm got away and he doesn’t know where he is. Kenneth tells Rispoli to meet him back at the hotel and they will deal with it together. After Kenneth hangs up he asks Juliette what she can tell him about Nick and she tells him that he will never stop coming after her. Kenneth thinks he can use this and tells her to come with him, however King Frederick tells him that Juliette did her part and she will remain there.

Adalind sneaks into the hotel room and calls out to make sure it is empty. Once she confirms it is, she heads over to a closet and places the severed head of the hundjager on the shelf. She then closes the closet door, takes a deep breath, open the doors back up and begins to scream as though she just discovered it.

Bud and Trubel are heading to get Rosalee and Monroe so they are safe also when Trubel gets a phonePhoto from the episode "Cry Havoc" call. She tries to ignore it, but Bud insists she answer in case it’s Nick. When she does answer, you can hear a woman’s voice and Trubel pretends like it is Nick (sneaky). Renard gets a briefing on the Ripper attacks and is told the last victim gave a good description of a man: 6’4″, well dressed, with a British accent. Meanwhile, Rosalee and Monroe are drinking wine enjoying a moment when they aren’t dismembering bodies or making potions when Bud knocks on the door. Bud and Trubel update them on Kelly being dead, the Royals having Diana, and the hundjagers being after Nick. He tells them they will be safe at his place and they all head out.

Nick and Hank arrive at the hotel where Wu informs them a head was found. They behave as though they’re reguar police who aren’t aware of the supernatural and have the hotel manager take them in to talk to their guest, Adalind. Hank has the hotel manager pull the names of all the guests staying there.

King Frederick is comforting Juliette about how much the Grimm must have impacted her life and assures her his people have embraced hexenbiest when others burned them at the stake. She reminds him the royals tried to have Renard and his mother killed on several occasions and King Frederick tells her it was the Queen who did that, and the Queen is now dead.

Nick starts recollecting the evidence he hadn’t paid much attention to before – like the ash fingerprint on his computer mouse and the ruffled bed – and tells Hank someone must have contacted Kelly from his computer. It is then they realize Juliette is the one who must have set Kelly up. Kenneth arrives at the hotel before Rispoli and is arrested as he gets there. Wu takes him into custody as Rispoli drives past. Wu drives Kenneth out of Portland to “where he belongs.”

Rispoli reports back to King Frederick that Kenneth was arrested and asks if he should go and bail him out. King Frederick tells him to leave him, that Kenneth and the Grimm have unfinished business. All Rispoli needs to do is gets everything ready for them to leave.

Wu drives Kenneth out to a remote abandoned building and pulls him out of the car. Kenneth sarcastically says that Photo from the episode "Cry Havoc"he doesn’t think this is procedure as Wu tells him to lie down and then kicks the back of his knee to make him. Wu then uncuffs him and drives away. Kenneth gets up and looks around, and then Nick walks out from the shadows. Kenneth taunts Nick, telling him he thought Nick’s mother would be more of a challenge. Nick asks how he got Juliette to cooperate with him and Kenneth scoffs that it didn’t take much more than a quick romp in their bed. Kenneth tells Nick that Juliette helped change history and Nick tells Kenneth he won’t be around to see it. They begin to fight while Hank and Wu wait outside. Wu asks Hank what they’ll do if Kenneth kills Nick and Hank tells Wu they will finish what Nick started. Nick and Kenneth are really going at it, but Nick gets the drop on Kenneth with a wrist blade (Assassin’s Creed, whaaat) and Kenneth drops to the floor and bleeds out. Nick joins Hank and Wu outside and tells Wu to get back to the station and triangulate Juliette’s cell phone.

Adalind is with Trubel, Monroe, Rosalee, and Bud and asks Trubel if she was with Nick when they found Kelly’s body. Trubel tells them there wasn’t a body, just the severed head in a box. Trubel asks where Juliette is and why she isn’t around, which is when they finally fill her in on everything that has happened, including Juliette being a hexenbiest and the terrible things she has done. Just then Nick and Hank arrive. Wu calls them and tells them where Juliette is: at the large, gated compound. Nick tells Wu not to meet them there and he, Hank, and Monroe decide to go after Juliette. They have Rosalee stay with Adalind and Bud for added protection. Trubel asks Nick what they should do Grimmwhen they find Juliette, and Nick says to kill her. As they drive up the road to the estate, they notice a car following them and so they decide to pull off the road. The other car stops behind them and they get out, prepared for a fight, but it’s Wu with a shotgun: he is not about to let them do this alone and wants to help. They continue on foot and flank the estate. They take out the guards quietly and make their way closer to the estate.

Juliette, Diana, and King Frederick have already made their way out of the estate after King Frederick played with Diana and watched her build a castle out of wood blocks with her mind.

Nick hears the helicopter approaching and tries to get into the estate quicker before they are able to board and take off. Once Nick is inside he takes out more guards and finds the room with the toys, but no Diana. The rest make their way through the estate taking out hundjagers along the way and Hank fights with Rispoli before tossing him over the stair railing whereGrimm he falls and dies. Nick sees the helicopter land and takes off to the backyard to try and stop it. As he runs out it is too late, the helicopter is already lifting off and flying away. Nick is frustrated and furious he wasn’t able to stop it.

They all head back to Bud’s house and Nick explains what happened and apologizes to Adalind. Monroe and Rosalee can go home now that they aren’t in danger anymore and Adalind can stay with Bud a little longer till Nick figures something else out. Nick says he needs to talk to Renard and Hank tells him to just go home, he will go talk to Renard.

Hank tells Renard there is still a pile of bodies out there and Renard tells him it’s out of their jurisdiction and not to worry about it. Hank says Kenneth is still out there dead too and they get the great idea to frame Kenneth as the Ripper. So they do.

In the helicopter, King Ferdinand tells Diana she really is a princess and she points to the window on the helicopter. When he looks at it, he sees his face become a skeleton in the reflection and her eyes glow purple. The pilot then gets up and climbs to the back, cuts the King’s seat belts and tosses him out of the helicopter. The pilot sits back down and takes off his helmet, and it’s Meisner! He says “down with the king” and Diana smiles. (Where is Juliette?!?!)

Nick makes it home and inside, the box is still there and he looks at his mom’s face. He turns as someone approaches and sees Juliette. She tells him she didn’t know Kenneth was going to do that, she just thought he wanted Diana. Nick grabs her by the throat and pushes her against the wall, Photo from the episode "Cry Havoc"choking her. Nick tightens his grip, but then releases her, unable to kill her. Juliette smugly taunts him and he tells her to get out. She is not going to let it end that way, she woge and tells him he should have killed her when he had the chance. She throws him across the room and is about to kill him when Trubel comes in and shoots her twice with and crossbow (I literally cheered). Juliette slinks down and Nick catches her in his arms, crying as Juliette dies. A bunch of cars pull up outside and men rush the house as woman in charge tells the men to “get her.” It is the FBI agent that was investigating Trubel before she left AND who Trubel was talking to on the phone when Bud thought it was Nick. Next season is going to be craaazy!

Grimm Recap: Ep. 21, “Headache”

GrimmWe join this week’s episode in the middle of turmoil as Nick is pointing a gun at Monroe because Juliette is making him using her hexenbiest powers. Nick, Monroe, Rosalee, and Hank had tried to help calm the hexenbiest within Juliette with the help of Adalind using a potion they concocted, but Juliette was having none of that. Rosalee screams at Nick to put the gun down but he is unable to as Juliette is completely controlling him and his pleading with her is falling on deaf ears. She makes him fire the gun, just as Hank charges over and knocks Monroe out of the way, both narrowly missing the bullet. Juliette shrugs it off and thanks them for doing the hard work for her by getting rid of Adalind’s powers. Almost killing someone who used to be one of her best friends appears not to have had an impact on her at all. Juliette takes off and Rosalee, Monroe, and Hank all say she is no longer the person they knew and they are done trying to help her. Nick agrees and goes to call Renard to warn him of how dangerous Juliette is, but when he does, a different voice answers the phone. It is the same voice as our murderer from last week, Jack. He tells Nick that Renard is unavailable, that they had a rough night, and Captain Renard can’t come to the phone. Realizing the Captain may be in danger, Nick and Hank head out to his house to check on him and call Wu to meet them there.

Wu arrives at Renard’s house just as Nick and Hank pull up and they spread out to surround the house, Wu taking the back and Nick and Hank taking the front, battering ram in hand. Turns out they don’t need the battering ram as Renard’s door is unlocked. They quietly head inside and upstairs where they find Renard confused as to why they are there. He is unharmed and tells them he was just asleep. They ask where his phone is and he states he has left it downstairs so they all head down and Wu checks the phone. Sure enough, Nick was the last one to call him. Nick points out that his door was open and Renard says that it shouldn’t have been. After they tell him that when Nick called Jack had answered, Renard tells them he had been visiting Henrietta’s and then came home and took a nap.

They all go to Henrietta’s but find her dead, sprawled out on the floor. Hank pulls Nick aside and reminds him that Jack said WE had a rough night when Nick called Renard and maybe they are looking at it wrong. Renard insists the guy must have followed him after a press conference and Nick calling scared him off. Nick instructs Wu to escort Renard home and keep a round-the-cock watch on his residence. It seems like they are questioning Renard’s involvement in all this, but still make it clear they don’t think he is even aware of what is going on.

A guy pulls into a garage on a motorcycle and quickly grabbed by two men. At another house, a couple of men break in and tackle a couple and we see they are Kenneth’s men. The couple are Nick’s neighbors and Kenneth’s guys are overtaking their houses in order to keep an eye on Nick’s. Of course Juliette is helping them and she and Kenneth break into Nick’s house where she notices he’s taken down all their photos together. They head upstairs as she tells Kenneth about the different enter and exit points of the house before coming to Nick’s bedroom. The bed is nicely made and Kenneth remarks about how it is where he and Adalind got pregnant. This in turn upsets Juliette and she pushes Kenneth onto the bed and climbs on top of him, telling him she wants him to be clear on just how valuable she can be before kissing him…and then some.

At Renard’s house, Nick asks him why he visited Henrietta and Renard says he was having some issues. He tells Nick about his recurring dreams of being shot, about waking up in strange places and about his scars bleeding. Renard is worried Jack may be framing him or drugging him so Nick and Hank instruct him to keep his phone with him and to try and get some rest. Once outside, Hank asks Nick if something is off and Nick suggests something may be controlling Renard. They tell the officer outside to notify them if anyone goes in or out as Renard watches them leave from his window.

Nick goes home and heads upstairs and notices the nicely made bed is now pulled apart. He draws his gun and checks the bathroom but there is nothing there, either. He recalls being in the bed with Adalind and calls Hank to say that she may know what’s going on with the Captain.

Renard dreams about being shot again, but this time he wakes up quickly. He goes to the bathroom and looks into the mirror and the scars are still there. He wonders aloud what the hell is going on and then you see a change throughout his body and his mannerisms. Jack’s voice comes out of Renard just before his body changes again and it is still Renard, only now his scabs are bleeding from all the shifting and Renard keels over in pain on the bathroom floor.

GrimmNick calls Bud who is napping in his living room chair with a baseball bat and asks to talk to Adalind. Bud tells him she is asleep and Nick says it’s unnecessary to wake her then hangs up. Just then, there is a knock at the door and Bud woges, clearly startled, as is typical since he’s usually a mouse. He goes to check who it is and Nick calls from behind the door that it is him so Bud lets him and Hank in. Nick goes to the bedroom to wake Adalind himself and Hank notices how jumpy Bud is, not that he isn’t usually jumpy, but now even more so. Hank asks Bud if he has been sleeping and Bud says yes, then quickly admits he has not. Bud tells Hank he doesn’t know how they do this every day with all the tension, and Hank just says they have a lot more than a baseball bat.

Adalind wakes up to Nick standing by her bed and is immediately on the defensive. She just knows Juliette drank the potion and is back to normal and now Nick is there to kill her since she is of no use to him anymore. Nick assures her he is not there to hurt her, and tells her that Juliette didn’t drink the potion but she destroyed it, preferring to be the person she is now. Nick goes on to tell her that something is wrong with Renard, that he keeps dreaming he has been shot and waking up bleeding. She asks if Renard is having blackouts and if he was pronounced dead when he was shot. Nick isn’t sure if he was pronounced dead but he is having blackouts and Renard’s mother was there at the hospital with him. Adalind says that he must have been dead then and something traveled back with him, spirit possession. She asks if Renard knows but Nick says he doesn’t remember anything. Adalind tells Nick things will only get worse and the thing that hitched a ride could completely take over. Hank walks in and, overhearing part of the conversation, asks how to get the spirit out of Renard. Adalind tells them they can’t, they have to kill him to open the portal again for the thing to leave.

At Rosalee and Monroe’s house, Hank and Nick fill them in on the dilemma with Renard. GrimmHank suggests using the Dead Faint potion like they had to do on Monroe so it appears that Renard has died. Rosalee wants to be certain Renard is involved before they attempt something so dangerous and Hank tells her they haven’t been able to tie Renard to any crime scenes yet, but they’ll check the footage and see if there is something they missed. Just then, Nick gets a call telling him Renard is on his way back into the station. Hank and Nick leave to beat him there and Rosalee says they will start working on the potion.

Someone dressed in black enters the burned out trailer and walk around, stopping to pick through the scorched items that are left for a moment, but we never see their face.

Hank and Nick go through the street surveillance footage and when Nick pulls up footage on Alder Street he recognizes a black SUV. He tells Hank he’s found something and when they zoom in, it’s Captain Renard, putting him in the area around the same time as the first murder. Just then, Renard arrives and asks to see both of them privately and Hank and Nick are unsure of who or what they will be talking to.

Renard tells them he is very concerned and explains about how he was dreaming, woke up and that he heard a voice when he was looking in the mirror. He doesn’t remember much else and Hank tells him he must have blacked out again. They ask if he remembers being near the first killing when it happened but he says it’s impossible because he was at home in bed. Hank tells him he blacked out and that’s why he doesn’t remember, and Nick tells him everything Adalind told them about spirit possession, leaving out the “having to kill him” part. Hank tells Renard that Rosalee and Monroe are working on something that may help and when they ask that he turn over his gun, he does. Renard assures them that whatever is going on, it isn’t really him and he needs to be watched by someone that understands. Nick and Hank ask Wu to watch the Captain and Jack take over Renard’s body as he watches Wu, saying this should be a jolly good romp.

GrimmWu drives Renard home and notifies Nick he is there. Nick tells him they will meet up with him soon as Rosalee and Monroe finish up the Dead Faint potion. Rosalee says that the Captain can’t know what it is because Jack may know everything Renard knows, so they’ll have to tell him it is just a memory potion instead. The spirit of Jack has to believe Renard is dying in order for him to leave and Nick suggests they may have to shoot Renard.

At Renard’s house, his wounds start bleeding again and he freaks out and draws in blood on the bathroom mirror but it is not him that is controlling his hand. Renard goes running outside, yelling to Wu that “it’s inside” and when Wu gets out and asks where, Jack responds that it’s inside him and knocks Wu out. They’re going to have a bloody good time.

Juliette was dropped off at Nick’s house to wait for Kelly Burkhart and we later see that Grimmthe person in black approaches Nick’s door. Kenneth calls Juliette and tells her someone is on the porch but they don’t know yet if it is Kelly and note that there is no child with her. As they watch the person turn and leave, Kenneth tells Juliette it was just some kid and they end the call. Kenneth has one of his men follow the person, who loses them down an alley. As he looks for them, the person in black comes up from behind and cuts Kenneth’s man’s head off, and we see that the person in black is Trubel.

Jack has taken Wu hostage and is driving with him, gloating about being back, when Nick and Hank show up and Renard’s house. They see Wu’s car is gone and his gun is on the ground so Nick calls in to have the car tracked, then tries to call Wu but Jack ignores the call. Inside, they see the blood on the mirror that reads “Welcome back Jack.” Hank gets notification on Wu’s car’s location, so they take off to catch up.Grimm Jack pulls off to the side on a street and spots a blonde hooker. Wu tries to talk some sense in him but it’s no use. Jack leaves Wu in the car and goes over to the hooker. She and Jack walk off together as Wu is screaming in the back of the patrol car and trying to kick out the windows to stop him. Nick and Hank show up and Wu tells them what direction the Jack and the woman went. Nick uses his Grimm sense and hears Jack whispering to the hooker and is able to grab Jack’s hand just as he is about to slit the woman’s throat. He tells her to run and she does as he takes Jack down. Just then, Renard returns to his senses and has no idea what is going on. Nick, Hank, and Wu take Renard to the spice shop and explain they have something that will bring back his memories. Renard asks what they’ll do if he remembers killing all those women and Nick assures him that they know he wasn’t responsible. Renard takes the potion and Rosalee suggests he lie down. Renard complies and soon he is out.

GrimmA vehicle pulls up the Nick’s house and a woman gets out. Kenneth calls Juliette again and confirms it is Kelly and she has the child. Kelly and the little girl go up to the house and go inside while Juliette waits upstairs in the bedroom. Kelly calls out to Juliette and Juliette hears a struggle downstairs as someone screams, followed by growling, then a man saying “take it outside.” Juliette then hears a child crying and goes downstairs to find Diana sitting alone on the floor. She picks her up as Kenneth comes in with blood on his face that is not his and tells Juliette they got Kelly. Kenneth approaches and admires Diana as Juliette looks a little remorseful.

Rosalee checks Renard’s pulse and tells everyone it is slowing down. As it gets almost to a stop, Jack wakes up and quickly grabs her by the throat. He threatens to break her neck and Wu, Nick, and Hank all pull their guns on him. Rosalee woges and bites Jack’s hand and when he releases her Nick, Hank, and Wu open fire on Jack. He is hit several times by rubber bullets knocking him back and down. As they watch some black smoke leave Renard’s body, Rosalee gives him a shot to revive him. Renard chokes back to life and asks why he feels like he got hit by a truck. They ask what he remembers and it’s not much. His chest begins to hurt again and when he opens his shirt we see the wound scars disappear. He is cured of what was possessing him. There is a knock at the door and it’s Trubel. She tells them they have to go now, that there are a lot of people at Nick’s house and she just had to kill a hundjager that was following her, and something is going down.

Juliette, Kenneth, and Diana drive away from Nick’s house and Kenneth says it’s been a very successful night.

Everyone from the spice shop arrives at Nick’s house to find there has been a struggle in his living room. On the floor is a box with blood seeping out of the bottom (what’s in the booox). When Nick opens the box, he finds his mother’s severed head and is horrified and furious. Trubel looks inside as Nick screams “NO NO NO…”

Grimm Recap: Ep. 20, “You Don’t Know Jack”

Tonight we pick up right where we left off last week with Hank, Wu, and Nick racing out to the trailer after Nick had received a call from Juliette after having set it on fire. It is still smoking when they arrive as they head inside to see how much damage has been done. The answer is: a lot. They salvage what they can back to the basement of the spice shop. They each had a lot of memories in that trailer, and you can see they will miss it.

Juliette heads back home while Nick is out to continue Kenneth’s plan. She logs onto the computer and sends an email to Kelly telling her that Nick is in trouble and needs her help, but the house is safe. Kelly quickly responds that she is on her way and Juliette deletes both emails. She then enjoys some whiskey, very pleased with what she has accomplished.

Two call girls are working the corner, and it is not long before we learn they are wesen. A car stops and picks one up leaving her friend at the corner. She is then approached by a man from out of town saying he is looking for something a little more “wild.” She shows him she is wesen, and that is exactly what he is looking for. They walk off arm in arm to a vacant parking lot where he slits her throat.

At the spice shop, Adalind explains to Rosalee that before Nick she was perfectly happy just being a lawyer. The things she has done have been to protect herself and her child. She explains that she only knows that this will work in theory, but she trusts Rosalee, and she reminds her that she was even on the side of the resistance. They make arrangements to dig up Adalind’s mother tomorrow as she is the last ingredient needed. Just then the guys show up with what they salvaged from the trailer, and they discuss where Adalind will stay to be safe from Juliette. They decide the best place is with Bud, whose family is out of town. At Bud’s house they stress how important it is that no one know Adalind is there, especially due to her condition. He soon pieces together who the father of the child is, and understands Juliette is trying to kill her.

Juliette reports back to Kenneth what she has done, and that Kelly is on her way. He asks her to stay there in the hotel with him now that Adalind is off with Nick. He also notices the ashes on her hand, and she explains that it was a bout of vengeance which he promises much more of.

Nick arrives home and is very cautious, feeling that something just didn’t seem right. Then he notices an ashen fingerprint on the computer mouse. Captain Renard wakes up in a pool, disoriented again. The following day the police find the dead call girl, and Nick questions her roommate (the other call girl who was with her.) He sees she is a wesen, and finds out the dead girl was, too. When he examines her body he sees her throat was cut and her stomach lacerated.

They exhume Adalind’s mother’s body while Adalind tells her all the things that have happened since she died. At the station, Wu, Nick, and Hank are going over the medical examiner’s report. They learn that the girl’s uterus was skillfully removed by someone that is left-handed, and notice there are eerily similar circumstances in this death as those committed by Jack the Ripper. Nick takes this information to Renard who has returned to the station, and he tells them to be careful. Nick, Wu, and Hank wonder if Jack the Ripper may have been wesen or a Grimm, and head to the spice shop to look through the salvaged books.

That night, the other call girl is back out when a man approaches her, and tells her he has seen her talking Grimmto the police while he strangles her and cuts her open.

Meanwhile Adalind, Rosalee, and Monroe are there with Adalind’s mother. Adalind cannot cut her open and Monroe gets squeamish, too. It is up to Rosalee to remove the part needed for the potion. Nick and Hank arrive, head down to the basement, and Monroe takes this opportunity to join them. They read through the books, and find info on similar killings to this current one, and Jack the Ripper. They head back upstairs, and the potion is cooking but Adalind starts to feel woozy. Nick helps her to lie down just as the potion is ready. She tells them it just needs to be strained when Wu calls Nick to tell him about the new body that has been found. Hank and Nick take off to the crime scene.

At the crime scene they see this victim’s neck and stomach have also been cut open. Renard shows up and asks if they have any leads, and Nick explains it may be something very old, a sort of possession.

GrimmRosalee and Monroe strain the potion, and Adalind gets back up to try it. She explains there is only one way to know it works. Nick and Hank show back up just as she does. She drinks a bunch of it, and then goes back to lie down, asking the rest to hold her down. She has a very Exorcist moment as the hexenbiest part of her rises up and out of her before settling back inside. Once it is all over she stands up to test it and cannot woge, or move things anymore with thought. The potion seems to have worked, so now they just need to convince Juliette to drink it.

Adalind is with Kenneth, giving him the layout of the house and the neighborhood as well as who lives where. Adalind is moved back to Bud’s house and Nick asks him to keep her safe.

Renard holds a press conference for the two dead women when he notices his bullet scars are bleeding again. He quickly goes to the locker room in the police station and calls someone up, telling them he needs to see them right away. He goes to see Henrietta but he gets very flustered as she is asks him questions about his blackouts, telling her he doesn’t have time to wait to figure out everything that’s happening to him. He leaves while she begs him to come back. Henrietta flips through a book as she hears her door open. She goes to see who it is, woges quickly as she is attacked, and her throat is slit. The man sings a shanty, saying “the devil is dead.”

Nick is at the police department when Juliette calls him. She is with Kenneth, but he does not know that. She agrees to meet them at the spice shop after he explains they have something that will help her. At the spice shop, Nick, Rosalee, Monroe, and Hank wait for Juliette to show up, potion in hand. Juliette arrives and they tell her they are just trying to help her. She knows they tested it on Adalind, but agrees to take the potion. As she holds it she begins to make the entire shop shake. Nick yells for her to stop, but she smashes the potion jar, flings Rosalee against the wall, causing Monroe to woge in anger, and she uses her mind to toss him against another wall. She says she likes the way she is, and when Nick pulls his gun she uses her powers to turn his gun on Monroe. The screen goes black as a gunshot is heard.

Grimm Recap: Ep. 19, “Iron Hans”

This week’s episode opens with a woman, Maggie, and her father, Albert, packing up with others for a camping trip. They get all the men and their sons packed up, Maggie gr3takes their cellphones, and the boys take off to the woods. Maggie stays behind on the ranch. Once out in the wilderness we learn this is no ordinary father/son camping trip, but rather it is one for wesen. Each man woges, embracing their wesen side, before they begin the hunt. This hunt consists of the boys tapping into their wesen roots by hunting a rabbit with their bare hands. Once one is caught, they cook it up, and all share the meal. At the edge of the woods, a man in walking the highway, hitchhiking to Salem when he is attacked, and dragged into the woods.

Nick and Hank arrive on the scene in the morning, and discover the man looks like he has been mauled, and there are large animal gr5tracks around him. They investigate and concede that they need the help of Monroe, so they both head down to the spice shop. Monroe and Rosalee confirm the tracks are wesen, and Monroe agrees to go out to the scene of the crime to take a look. When they get back, they follow the tracks and smell of blood with the help of Monroe, and arrive at the ranch. Monroe reminisces about when he was a boy, and went to a camp like this one to embrace his wesen side. Albert, Maggie and Todd, Maggie’s brother, are fascinated by Monroe, and know he has been on a “real hunt” and find it interesting he is friends with a Grimm. They get Nick a list of the people that went on the camp-out the night before, and ask Monroe to come out tonight with them to talk to the boys.

Back at the station, the 3 fathers are brought in for questioning with Monroe in the room. He tells Nick that none of them give him the vibe of “killer”, and probably have never been in the woods before. Nick ask Monroe to go ahead and go with Albert and Todd for the camp-out to see if he can pick up any more information, and he reluctantly agrees.

gr4That night Monroe goes out with them, and three new sets of fathers and sons, and talks to them about the delicate balance of the drive to hunt and kill, and the necessity to embrace life and respect other’s lives. While he is out there, Nick gets notice that another body was found near the road. Nick meets up with Wu to investigate, and find out the body is about a week old. At the camp, they head out for their hunt chasing a rabbit when Monroe is attacked by a wesen who pins him down. It is Maggie, she has come out to join the hunt, and tells Monroe she wants him to go with her, that she has already picked out a new one. He refuses and tells her it is wrong so she takes off without him. He runs after her, and also calls for her father and brother to help him catch her.

Near the road another man is out hitchhiking, and sets his backpack against a tree to adjust, when Maggie comes out from the woods, and drags him back into it. At this point Monroe has called Nick, and told him what was going on with Maggie, and Nick and Wu take off to meet up with him. They pull up to the tree where they see the guys backpack, and head into the woods. This is when they hear a noise, and Maggie comes stumbling out of the bushes with a knife in her stomach. The man comes staggering out, scratched up and saying an animal had attacked, but when he sees Maggie he freaks out because he sees it is a woman he has stabbed instead. Maggie’s father, brother, and Monroe get there, and her father cradles her as she dies. She wanted him to notice her, to know she could hunt too, but she went about it in a very terrible way.

Throughout the show the story involving Juliette and Adalind also develops with Rosalee going to visit Juliette while she is in jail, and it does not go well. Juliette loves who she has become, and embraces her Hexenbiest.

Meanwhile Renard blacked out and awoke near a fountain in the middle of the night. The morning after he has the aggravated assaults looked into, and there is one that happened the night before near the same fountain he woke up near.

At the hotel, Kenneth is speaking with the king, letting him know he made it clear to Renard to not interfere. Adalind comes in, and Kenneth informs her Juliette has been arrested. She tells him things are going to get bad before they get really, really bad. Kenneth believe he can use Juliette to get to Kelly, and in turn, Diana. Adalind doesn’t think Juliette will betray Nick, even with her being a Hexenbiest, but Kenneth tells her she only needs the right motivation. He knows Adalind’s baby is also Nick’s baby, and believes this information is just the thing Juliette Grimmneeds to come to his side in order to hurt Nick.

Back in her cell, Juliette is going over everything that has happened up to this point to land her in her current condition when a guard tells her she is being released, her bail has been paid. As she is leaving the police station, Kenneth is waiting outside for her, and tries talking her into helping him with his problems with Nick and Nick’s mom. He tells her Adalind is pregnant with Nick’s child, but she doesn’t believe him. He promises her he can get her a better life once she helps him, and gives her the address to his hotel and room number.

Adalind goes to Renard’s office and reveals she is pregnant… and that it is Nick’s baby. She explains that she needs Nick’s help to protect her from Juliette so Renard goes, and calls Nick into his office. Once there, GrimmAdalind explains to Nick that she is carrying his baby, and he of course freaks out. She tells him it is a boy, and is kicking, and tries to get him to feel. He pulls his hand away from her several times before he feels the baby kick. She also tells him she has a way to help Juliette by suppressing the Hexenbiest so he agrees to help her. They head out to go to Rosalee’s shop to begin working on the concoction that will help Juliette, which includes the body of a dead Hexenbiest (to which Adalind offers up her mother) when Juliette shows up at the station. She sees Nick with Adalind, and realizes Kenneth was telling the truth. She tries to get close to Adalind to hurt her, and Nick won’t allow it. She accuses him of choosing Adalind over her because if he didn’t he would allow her to kill Adalind. Wu steps in, and asks if everything is ok, and Juliette tells Adalind she will catch her later.

Nick takes her to the spice shop, and Rosalee flips out over seeing her, pregnant, with Nick’s baby. They have everything Adalind will need other than her dead mother’s body. Meanwhile Juliette pays a visit to Kenneth and agrees to help him. He suggests putting Nick in mortal danger, or at least telling his mom he is, will cause her to come running.

That night she decides to pay a visit to the trailer that belonged to Nick’s aunt. While inside she tears up a book about Hexenbiest and then sets it on fire. She tosses a jar of liquid into it, and the fire flares up, catching everything near it on fire as well. She steps outside and calls Nick, telling him he should come take a look at his Aunts trailer, and that she was just trying to warm herself up now that she has no one to hold her, and hangs up.

Grimm Recap: Ep. 18, “Mishupeshu”

This week begins two days in the future with Hank and Nick physically fighting as Hank woges into a light blue, furry creature.

Back in the present, Hank and Nick join Monroe and Rosalee for dinner at their house, but Nick quickly decides he can’t stay there pretending to have a good time when he is worried about Juliette. She hasn’t returned his calls nor has she been to work. He leaves to go find her and Rosalee makes plans to try and figure out a way to turn Juliette back human. His plan involves looking through the book Renard has and Hank points out they’ll need Juliette, too.

Speaking of Juliette, she is at a bar drinking when a man asks to buy her drink. She accepts and toys with him when he inquires about her name. After a couple drinks, she goes to leave but he isn’t ready to let her. She woges and force-pushes him back. The bartender then tells her he will be calling the police. I feel like there is going to be a higher percentage of upcoming episodes involving her. I can’t say I’m excited about this.

A man is buffing the floors at a school late at night when he hears a noise. He goes to investigate, but when he finds nothing and comes back to his buffer, it has mysteriously been turned back on. Then a familiar blue furry creature attacks him. When Nick and Hank show up to the crime scene the following morning, Wu is already there and fills them in. The victim’s name is Lawrence and they will be assisted in the investigation by the local deputy, Farris. They decide to pay a visit to the principal who found Lawrence this morning. She states that Lawrence was not very popular among the staff and she thinks he is divorced. She also reveals that the school had an issue with a student being bullied for being Native American and believed Lawrence could have been involved. The bullied student is Simon and he dropped out before graduating, leaving his foster family in the process. Farris asks to tag along when they go to the reservation as her ex-husband is Native American and from the same tribe.

GrimmRenard shows up at the spice shop and delivers the book, hat, and some other items. They ask him if he has seen Juliette recently and he very vividly recalls their last personal encounter before telling them she has changed.

Simon wakes in the woods, covered in blood, and begins lapping up water. He then sees his reflection and it is the pale blue furry creature.

Farris recalls that Simon’s father Gus was beaten to death when Simon was five in a road rage incident and the suspect was never caught. Hank and Farris head to the reservation while Nick takes off to get Juliette, who he learns was just taken into custody at central booking for assault.

A man in a mechanic’s garage hears a noise while he is working and is attacked in a similar callback to Lawrence’s murder.

Nick shows up to Juliette’s holding cell and asks her what happened. She says she is just being the best hexenbiest she can be and makes a long speech about liking the power she has now, adding that she still blames Nick for what has happened to her. She says she didn’t have to let them arrest her but wanted to see if he would try and rescue her. Nick tells her he is not there to get her out, as he believes it is safer for her to be in there.

Hank and Farris get to the reservation and meet with Hector who says Simon is on a power quest outGrimm on a mountain. Once Simon finds his spirit guardian he will return, but there is no way to find him currently. Hector also talks about how Gus was beaten on the side of the road when Simon was little. Hank calls Nick to tell him another victim has been found. They all meet up at Declan’s Auto Repair where the mechanic, Declan, was found dead, mauled just like Lawrence. They find Lawrence in Declan’s contacts and decide to run their common contacts.

Simon is chanting in the woods, when a pale blue furry spirit rises and enters him again.

They have found a common contact in Max McClay and head to his residence, but Simon is already there, hiding in a closet. McClay is spooked by a sound he hears and goes to investigate. Simon attacks just as Hank, Nick, and Farris show up and McClay is thrown out his front window. Nick goes around back and Hank heads in the front while Farris waits outside. Simon meets Nick out back and Nick announces that he is a Grimm, telling Simon to get down. Hank comes out from the house and Nick says he thinks Simon is a wesen, but he didn’t react to him. Hank says he can see him, too, and Simon jumps up to the roof of the house and takes off. He jumps down in front of Farris and sprains his ankle, but manages to get away anyway. All three of them saw what he was.

They decide to talk to Hector again and he tells him it sounds like a Mishupeshu. He says that to find Simon, they must know where he has been, so GrimmHank, Nick, and Farris head out to a sweat lodge with Hector. Hank and Farris sip a liquid to allow them into the dream world, but Hector doesn’t allow Nick to do it because he can tell he is different. Hank begins to channel Simon at the age of five and describes seeing the men beat his father. Nick says that the three men must be the three victims. Hank takes off and they all run after him but lose him. Hector says that the only place he can think to look is Gus’ grave. Hank goes to the totem grave and finds Simon. The Mishupeshu spirit leaves Simon and enters Hank and he takes off again. The others reach the grave site and find Simon, and Hector says the Mishupeshu must be using Hank now that Simon is injured. Simon, Nick, Hector, and Farris get to Max’s house before Hank and try to get him to stop. This is where we came into the show and Hank and Nick are fighting. Hector blows some herbs in Hank’s face and the Mishupeshu leaves him. They go outside where Farris has Max in the police car and Hank yanks him out of it. He is angry over what he saw and that Max, Lawrence, and Declan killed Gus, but Max says there’s no way to prove anything. They all end up leaving.

Later, we see Max passed out with his gun in his hand when the Mishupeshu attacks and finally kills him. It then returns to the woods – and it’s Farris.

Grimm: EP 17: Hibernaculum

GrimmThis week the episode opens with Juliette and Renard in his home after his fight with Kenneth, all beaten and bloody. She undresses and they kiss after agreeing killing Adalind is a great idea, we can assume things happen. I’m less than excited to even include the parts that involve Juliette and I kinda want her to disappear… or die. You know.

Anyways, the case opens with a man driving down the road and his car breaks down. He sets out on foot to find help and happens across a quaint house with an older lady inside who is on the phone with her daughter. He knocks and the woman’s daughter advises her mother not to open the door. The man outside is turning blueGrimm from cold and pleads with her to help him. When she refuses, he busts into the house, woges into a reptile type wesen and bites her, apparently draining all the heat from her as she is frozen solid when he finishes. He then takes off in her car. Hank and Nick arrive to investigate and decide to start searching for his previous car he must have left behind.

Monroe is at home, working on a clock when he begins shaking and having flashbacks from when we was kidnapped, seems he is suffering from some PTSD. Rosalee comes home and it startles Monroe who woges, which in turn startles her. He brushes off her inquiries into what is wrong by stating he was just thinking about time, and how you never know how much you have left.

The roadblock they set up works and the suspect makes a harsh u-turn to avoid it, only to have Nick, Hank, and Wu coming toward him the other Grimmway, boxing him in. He has no choice but to stop and he takes off into the woods on foot. Nick uses him super Grimm sense to follow him through the trees. The suspect is hiding but becoming increasingly colder, which causes him to attack Nick who subdues him and arrests him. Back at the station they discover his name is Knute Gunderson, from North Dakota. While they are discussing what type of wesen he could be, they find him frozen solid in his cell. They manage to find his other car and discover fast food containers, enough for three people. Which means he was not alone when the car broke down. When the trailer has no answers, they go meet up with Monroe and Rosalee at the shop and they tell him it sounds like a Varme Tyv, a wesen that has to steal the heat of a person to survive since they are cold-blooded. Usually they are fairly docile, but during the winter they go to a hibernaculum, which is a secluded place they can hibernate together and feed off each others heat until the winter ends.

Adalind goes to Kenneth and states she needs new clothes because nothing fits with her much more Grimmprotruding baby bump. He agrees and sends her off with a bodyguard to shop. While outside a store, Juliette is across the street and uses her new powers to slide a gargoyle off the roof of the shop towards Adalind. The bodyguard sees it just in time and manages to get her out of the way. Adalind is livid when she goes back to the hotel and tells Kenneth he needs to kill Juliette before Juliette kills her. He is intrigued by Juliette being a hexenbiest and thinks she may be willing to help them locate Nick’s mother, and the baby.

While Nick and Hank are at the spice shop Juliette shows up and there’s a big dramatic confrontation between her and Nick, she woges, and shows Monroe and Rosalee that she is a hexenbiest. Rosalee tries to be positive about it and is quickly shot down by Juliette, who then storms out after blaming all of them for what has happened to her (waa waa waa waa.) Monroe, Nick, and Hank take off after hearing from Wu that another frozen body was found. It is Gunderson’s brother they find, he froze to death after failing at stealing a nurse’s heat who had stopped to try and help him get to the hospital. Meanwhile another man attacks a cab driver, freezes him with a bite and steals his cab. It is the last Gunderson brother and they find a relative in Portland and head to the house.

Grimm Once they get to the house, they go in and find a hidden door on thr floor under a rug. They head down speculating they had found the hibernaculum and find a pile of people sleeping, with the third Gunderson brother, Sven, in the mix. They try to move everyone off him to pull him out, but this wakes all of them and they chase them down. Hank, Monroe, Wu and Nick take off back upstairs and outside, seeking shelter in a nearby barn. Sven and another man manage to break in first, as Nick and Hank try and fight them off. Eventually the entire swarm of people break through, but quickly begin falling down from being too cold. They then decide to move all the people back into the cellar in the house to finish out their hibernation, and Sven is left in the barn to freeze to death. To cover up everything that went down,Grimm they place him back in the stolen cab and leave it in town to be discovered and called in by a woman looking for a cab ride.

We end with Nick at home, staring at a picture of him and Juliette, remembering what his Aunt had told him about the curse of being a Grimm and how he would lose those that were important to him.

Grimm: EP 16: Heartbreaker

Grimm This week starts with Renard getting a rude awakening by Juliette ranting that there is nothing in the book that can help her, or help him for that matter. She wants to know where his mother is right now. Before him, before Nick, before all this Wesen crap she was normal, and she wants to get it back. If he doesn’t make it happen soon, he better watch out. Thankfully that’s all we see of her for now. I really dislike the scenes she is in and kinda hope she dies…. (sorry not sorry)

We cut to an early morning bike ride with a group of bikers, one in particular is being a complete jerk tGrimmo a female rider (Bella) and so she rides off by herself. As she’s riding she hits a dip in the dirt and flips her bike, scraping her cheek badly. Luckily one of the other biker rides was following her and comes to her aid. She is very adamant that she is fine and to leave her alone, but he is insistent on helping her and professing his love for her? I guess it’s possible to love someone you have almost zero interaction with and it seems like she never talks to him, or anyone for that matter, so I doubt he really knows much about her personality… but ok. As he gets closer to her, she turns away from him, warning him to leave her alone he of course doesn’t and touches her shoulders, just as she woges into a frog lady, complete with toxic slimy skin. This toxin spreads quickly from his hands to the rest of his body and he swells and dies, covered in boils as she rides off.

GrimmNick gets the call about the the dead biker while he is with Hank at a cafe. He has just told him that Juliette is a hexenbiest and is avoiding him. They go investigate the scene and cannot determine it is an accident, murder, or something else entirely. Taking his keys from him, they go to his apartment and find he lives alone, but has pictures of a blonde woman as well as sketches of her. It is of course, Bella. Love or obsession? You decide.

Meanwhile Bella has returned home and is in tears as she calls her mom and explains what happened. Her mom says she will be right there to help her. When she gets there Bella explains it wasn’t her fault, and she doesn’t know what to do. Her mother assures her that it indeed wasn’t, and she is just going to pretend like it didn’t happen. Her mom thens turns to face the camera, and we see her face is burned and scarred, and she asks Bella if she wants her life ruined the way hers was.

Renard gets a visit from Sam who tells him Viktor was sent back to Vienna, and an unknown royal would be coming to town. Renard asks him to get more information, and gives him a packet with some fake clues as to where Kelly Burkhart disappeared to with the baby. Sam agrees and leaves.

Nick and Hank get some info about the riding group and go to ask if they have any information aboutGrimm Zack, the dead rider. They state he was there yesterday, but hadn’t shown up today. They remember he rode off after Bella, and haven’t seen her yet today either. The bikers know very little more other than that Bella keeps to herself pretty much all the time. Wu calls and tells Nick the Zack’s heart broke from a toxin that is not found in nature, but that similar types of the toxin is found in some frogs and some birds. With this info, they go to a bike shop where Bella works to ask her some questions, and even with Nick’s pressing, she doesn’t woge, so Nick is unsure of she is Wesen or not.

Off to the Spice shop to get some advice from Monroe and Rosalie who are very helpful in figuring out the type of wesen she may be based on their description of the incident. Rosalie says it’s a defense mechanism that happens when someone is sexually attracted to them, and that it really isn’t their fault. She convinces Nick that Bella doesn’t need to be arrested, but helped. He asks her to try and make something to counteract Bella’s toxins, so she and Monroe get to work on it.

GrimmBack with the royals and Adalind is changing when she is told Kenneth, the new royal to take Viktor’s place has arrived. He comes in and she informs him that Nick is a Grimm again and Juliette is a hexenbiest. He also opens her robe and sees that she is pregnant as well. When probed about who it belongs to, she lies and says it’s Viktors. After she dresses she meets him in the living room of the suite as Sam comes in with the junk information. Kenneth takes it and right away questions his loyalties before beating him. He tells Adalind that he is more direct than Viktor was, and that she needs to rethink who she names as the father of her child since Viktor is sterile.

At the Bike shop Bella is closing up alone as the jerk from the biking group, Ricky, comes in and tellsGrimm her she is stuck up and that he is going to take what she should have given Zack. As he goes to try and rape her he woges, and so does she once he touches her. By now though, it’s too late and the toxin spreads through him just as quickly as it did Zack. She phones the police and takes off to her mother’s house when she goes into an outside storage shed on the property and curls up in a chair crying. Her mother comes out to reassure her after seeing her bike outside, and says she is going to go make her something to eat. On her way back to her house she notices smoke coming from her fireplace, and quickly goes into the house where her mother is getting a squiggly branding iron heated up for Bella. She has the same scar on her face and tells Bella’s mom that it is for her own good. Bella’s mother tries to stop her, but she hits her on the back of the head, grabs the iron, and heads to the shed.

Renard gets a call from Sam who convinces him to meet with him tonight at 9, and we see that it is Kenneth that is telling Sam what to say as they have him tied up, beaten, and the phone to his ear. After Sam tells Renard where and when to meet him, Kenneth kills him. When Renard gets to the location, he goes in and finds Sam there dead and Kenneth walks up behind him. They exchange words before a huge fight breaks out between Kenneth and Renard, with Renard left bleeding from the spots of his previous gun shot wounds and Kenneth telling him that he should join him because he (Kenneth) is too important to the Family.

GrimmNick is telling Juliette that it is all his fault what happened to her and that he just wants to talk to her about it when he gets the call about the death at the bike shop. She tells him to take the call and go with a really sour attitude, like he can just NOT do his job…. So he takes off to the the bike shop, and with the help of Wu finds out Bella’s mom, Cindy, was raped when she was younger, before she had the scar on her face, and the rapist died the same way as Zack and Ricky. They get the address and go to ask Cindy some questions, but when they get there, Hank sees her lying on the floor so they bust in. Hank checks her and she is ok, but then you hear Bella start to scream. Nick rushes out to the shed and saves her from her grandmother who it trying to brand her face, like her and Cindy’s. Cindy tells them not to arrest Bella, it isn’t her fault and they tell her they know,  but that she needs to come with them. Rosalie has made a potion for her, but it has very unknown side-effects. She chooses to take it anyway. The last scene is of Bella on a date with a man, and she asks him if he really isn’t bothered by the way she looks. She has splotches of green discoloration on her face and neck, and he tells her she is uniquely beautiful.

Grimm: EP 14: Bad Luck

Grimm returns this week(finally!!) with a great seasonal episode.Grimm It begins in a quaint house with a mother and her two teenage children. The older of the two sneaks out to meet up with his girlfriend in the woods. It is not long before they realize they are not alone and he ends up chased down by a man with an ax. His mom finds him, after hearing his cry for help, but it is too late. He is already dead and his left foot has been removed. Nick and Hank are called to the scene and while they are questioning his mother, Nick sees her woge but she had looked away and didn’t see that he was a Grimm. She appears as a rabbit-like wesen.

GrimmBack at the station, Nick and Hank are discussing this with Wu. Nick explains that Peter, the teenager, was found with his left foot cut off and that he is a wesen that is “wabbity.” At this point the look on Wu’s face is amazing. Rabbit wesen, foot cut off, named Peter….(ba-dun-cha). I love that Wu is the first to make the connection on the show, though the audience got it earlier in the show I’m sure. I think Wu now being in on the secret is one of my favorite parts of the show lately. He provides a lot of comic relief in an otherwise grim show (see what I did there).

Anyway, back to the show. So now they of course take a trip to the trailer to look up what they are dealing with and learn of a ritual for fertility involving the foot of the wilihara, or rabbit wesen. We also see a young couple arrive at a cabin in the woods and exchange a large amount of cash for the foot that had just recently been harvested. They take it home, place it under their bed and begin trying to conceive. After Nick learns of the lore, he conjects that Peter’s father may not have died in a car accident a year earlier as the mother had told them, but may have also been hunted. With a little more investigation they find Nick is correct, that this family is being hunted, and they need to protect the mother and daughter that are left.

GrimmBy this time, the mother and daughter have fled and are now staying in a small hotel until they can move on. They must always be on the move to avoid being hunted. Their precautions prove mute because the wesen hunting them has placed a tracking device on their car, and so knows exactly where to find them. Nick and Hank must figure out who is behind this and turn to Monroe and Rosalie for their help and knowledge. They confirm that there are fertility doctors just for wesen, and that one of them may be behind the hunting of the wilihara. After visiting one of the doctors undercover, they believe they are out of leads when he tosses their file for even mentioning the ritual and are about to give up, when the receptionist comes into the hall and tells them she knows someone that can help.

For $10k she can put them on the waiting list for the foot, with just one other couple ahead of them. Rosalie tells her she will pay $15k to be put ahead of the other couple. The woman agrees and tells them they will receive a text from her contact with instructions of where to take the money later tonight. Monroe calls Nick and tells him what has happened and Nick tells him not to let her leave. After a very failed attempt to ask awkward questions in order to not let her leave, Rosalie get frustrated and ends up just hitting her and knocking her out.

The Laporem Venator, the hunter, kidnaps the daughter, and Nick goes to speak with the mother wilihara and explain that he is a Grimm and that he will find her daughter. In order to figure out where the hunter is they interrogate the receptionist and learn the Grimmprevious couple’s name. Hank and Nick pay them a visit and after finding the foot hidden under their mattress, the couple tells them where the cabin is. Back at the cabin, the hunter removes the girls sock and shoe and ties her foot to a tree stump.  He tells her to woge so he can take her foot, but before he can force her to do so, he smells Nick and Hank approaching. He takes off into the woods, the girl flung over his shoulder to try and escape. Eventually Nick and Hank catch up to him and there is a fight but he gets away. The daughter surprises him by hitting him upside the head with a metal pole and then jams it into his foot. She has escaped her bindings where he had left her tied up. He recovers quickly and manages to knock her back to the ground. As he is about to kill her Nick and Hank catch up and Hank shoots him with a shotgun.

The girl is saved and returned to her mother and everything is great! Yay!! But what is happening with Juliette and Nick finding out she is a hexenbiest?? Well throughout the episode there are awkward interactions between the two and Nick even pays a visit to Henrietta, who mentored Juliette, to see if there was anything they could do. She finally makes him realize Juliette’s condition is permanent and there is nothing he can do about it. Juliette can see that Nick looks at her differently and things will never be the same between them, he cannot even look at her when she woges. Adalind pays a visit to Henrietta after finding out that is who Capt. Renard sent Juliette to and while there learns she is pregnant again. It is totally preposterous though because she would have had to… oh wait. She did. With Nick.
