Batman: Arkham Knight Launch Trailer

The Batman: Arkham Knight launch trailer is here! Check it out:

The game will be available for sale everywhere tomorrow, but retailers such as GameStop and Best Buy will be opening up their doors at midnight tonight as part of a special release for the game.

If you do decide to wait in line at one of those stores at midnight, though, just know that most of their inventory will be reserved for pre-orders! They should still have some quantities available that are not reserved, but if you haven’t pre-ordered the game you’re going to want to make sure that you’re one of the first people in line.

But honestly, if you’re going to go that route you may as well just pre-order it, as pre-orders as still open (at least they are at the moment I’m writing this).

Pre-ordering also does come with some perks! Best Buy, for instance, will give you a game bonus that will allow you to play as Harley Quinn AND a $10 rewards certificate (if you’re a My Best Buy member) as a thanks for pre-ordering the game.

But no matter how you choose to get your hands on the game, one thing is definitely certain: this game is going to be absolutely amazing!

‘Uncharted 4’ Game Play Revealed at E3

Sony rounded off their E3 conference with a brand new look at Uncharted 4′s game play!

The game play for Sony’s flagship series definitely starts off a little awkward!

After the cut scene ends, main character Nathan Drake just stands there instead of following Sully, and the game play restarts itself shortly after and heads in a normal direction.

This definitely was a mistake on Sony’s part, but I personally found watching the villagers go about their daily business while Nate stood there awkwardly quite intriguing!

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available early 2016 exclusively on Playstation 4.

How did you like the footage? Let us know in the comments below!

Star Wars Battlefront Gameplay Footage!

You absolutely need to see the gameplay footage for Star Wars: Battlefront that was released today during E3:

There is SO MUCH to say about this new footage, but for the sake of time (and maybe humanity) let’s just keep it simple: WOW!

Battlefront will let you battle in 40 multiplayer battles all reminiscent of the battle of Hoth, a battle all Star Wars fans know well.

But for those of you who don’t know what the battle of Hoth is, get off your computer or phone, head down to your nearest store that sells movies, and purchase Star Wars Episode V: the Empire Strikes Back IMMEDIATELY.

Star Wars Battlefront will be available November 17th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Are you as excited as we are? Let us know in the comments below!

Sony Announces PlayStation 4

Screen Shot 2013-02-21 at 6.25.14 PM

Sony announced Wednesday in New York that the newest generation of console gaming, the PlayStation 4, will finally be released during the holidays! And judging by the details the Japanese electronics giant has currently released about the PS4, it seems that a lot of gamers are going to be drafting their wish lists early this year.

A powerhouse capable of lightning speed, the PS4 will come fully armed with eight x86-64 AMD Jaguar CPU cores, and will boast an impressive 8GB of GDDR5 memory – a huge leap from the PS3, which operates with a mere 256MB GDDR3. Mark Cerny, lead system architect for the PS4, referred to the new system as “like a PC, but supercharged.” More power behind the PlayStation means that the system will turn on and off almost instantaneously, and you’ll even be able to shut the system down mid game and reboot without losing a single step.

In addition to hardware upgrades, the PlayStation’s classic DualShock controller has received a facelift. The controller still has the basic, classic styling, but gamers now can expect better rumble and enhanced motion sensibility. Amongst the new features on the controller include a touchpad located on front of the device, a headphone jack, and a “share” button, giving you the opportunity to gloat about your progress to friends, or seek their help in a tough spot.

For those who wish to play their PS3 games on the PS4: you’re out of luck. Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will not support backwards compatibility. But this doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy classics from the past. Sony is introducing a new system called “PlayStation Cloud”, which will allow you to access old titles from past PlayStation systems without need of a physical disc. However, specific details surrounding how exactly the cloud will operate are still, well, clouded.

More details about the PS4 are likely to be revealed within the coming months, but for right now Sony isn’t pulling the curtains completely.

Not a single complete image of the console was shown during Sony’s two hour long presentation, leaving the appearance of the new system still shrouded in mystery. And while it has been announced that the console will be released some time during the holiday season, a solid street date and estimated pricing has not yet been revealed to the public.
